Greg Mohrman, 41, went to be with the Lord on June 14, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at New Hope United Methodist Church (4525 Beaver Ave., Des Moines, Iowa) with interment to follow at Ankeny Memorial Gardens (4208 N Ankeny Blvd., Ankeny, Iowa). Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday at the church.

Gregory Alan Mohrman was born July 3, 1975, to Robert and Cheryl (Wilke) Mohrman. He grew up in Boone where attended Boone High School, graduating in the class of 1993. Greg continued his education at DMACC and the PGA Golf Academy of America in Arizona.

On July 18, 1998, Greg was united in marriage to Kelly Tennille Buckner. The couple made their home in Ankeny and Polk City and have been blessed with three children, Allyson Rose, Tyler John, and Carly Camille.

Greg was a talented salesman that made his career with several auto dealerships in the area. Most recently he served as a sales manager and finance director with Pella Motors.

Greg was an avid golfer, but also enjoyed biking, boating, and grilling for family gatherings. He was a beloved fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and wore their colors proudly.

Greg was a faithful servant of the Lord who instilled that value to his children. He taught his children the value of a strong work ethic and made sure their needs were always met. His one-liners will be remembered by his family and many friends. Most of all, Greg loved his family and treasured many memories with them.

Greg is survived by his wife, Kelly Mohrman; children, Allyson Rose, Tyler John, and Carly Camille; parents, Bob and Cheryl Mohrman; brother, Jeff Mohrman; grandmother, Betty Smith; parents-in-law, Tim and Marcia Buckner; sister-in-law, Shannon (Lance) Bartley; nieces, Macy Bartley and Kelsey Bartley; nephew, Jacob Bartley and Brenden Bartley; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Terry and Rose O'Neill and Hugh Smith; and grandparents-in-law, John and Norman Wright.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Greg's family.
